“I’ve been into motorsport engineering for as long as I can remember. At 17 I started building Carithm because I thought finding out what’s wrong with a car could be a lot less confusing.”

Originally from Kolkata, Shaunauk now lives in the UAE, where he studies mechanical engineering and builds Carithm alongside his degree.

Carithm launched in 2025 and has stayed independent since, with no outside funding. Today it helps over 10,000 drivers a month, and it’s still a one-person project.
